Services

Pre Purchase Consultation:

At 360 Earth, we can help you determine whether a prospective property will be suitable for you based on your needs and circumstances.
Together, we can either eliminate or progress into further exploration of the property.
This service can be very useful for someone who is unfamiliar with rural land, the scope of work and the cost of infrastructure.

Land Consultation:

Whether your property is like a blank canvas or has an existing dwelling, there is always room for good advice.

Together we can plan the best outcome for your property.

With consideration of your vision, budget, and property, we can come up with a unique design to match your criteria.

We take a holistic approach to your property considering budget, taste, proximity to services, the position and amount of sun, rain and wind. We also cover drainage and other variables such as positioning a house site, driveway, cabins, dam and shed, to choosing the right area for food production, veggie patch, or ‘off the grid’ options.

We also advise you on what machinery and services are needed to maintain your property.

Drainage Design and Water Harvesting:

Those who have lived in this area for a while will have experienced a good soaking, a flood, or a longer period of very rainy days.

Whether you would like to keep the water off your property or harvest the water on your property, there are different ways to achieve this effectively.
Ultimately it is wisest to encourage at least 10% of all rainfall to remain on your property, and have it drain away as slowly as possible.

By combining Tanks, Dams, Swales and Drains we can achieve this outcome.

Syntropic Farming. Food Forest. Permaculture:

At 360 Earth, we very enthusiastic about all 3!

Syntropic farming is a method of farming that emphasizes the use of diverse plant species and the creation of synergies between them in order to improve

soil health and increase crop yields. It is based on the principles of agroforestry and permaculture, and aims to mimic the natural relationships

and processes found in a healthy ecosystem.

This method of farming is holistic, regenerative and focuses on creating self-sustaining systems that require minimal inputs and maintenance.

Syntropic farming has been used to improve soil fertility, reduce the need for irrigation, increase crop yields, and improve the overall health and biodiversity

of the farm ecosystem.

Earthworks are an important aspect of Syntropic farming, as they can be used to create microclimates, improve water retention and drainage,

and increase soil fertility. Some examples of earthworks that can be used in Syntropic farming include:

  • Swales: These are shallow trenches that are dug along contour lines, and are used to collect and distribute water to plants. They can be used to slow down and spread out the flow of water, reducing erosion and increasing water infiltration. Please see images for examples

  • Berms: These are small mounds of soil that are built along contour lines, and are used to create microclimates for specific plants. They can also be used to direct water flow and retain moisture.

  • Terraces: These are flat areas that are built into a slope, and are used to create level areas for planting. They can also be used to slow down water flow and retain moisture.

  • Keyline design: This is a technique that involves using earthworks and other land management practices to optimize water flow and distribution on a farm.

Overall, the aim of these earthworks is to optimise the microclimate and water management on the farm, leading to a more resilient and self-sustaining system.

Driveway Construction:

This is one of our main branches in the business. We can upgrade, repair or build from scratch.

Vegetation Management:

Whether you are planting or removing vegetation, we have the right equipment and knowledge. We cover all requirements for land care from – Land Clearing, Camphor Laurel management, Land Regeneration and Native Plant Forests, to Flail Mowing on steep slopes, Tree Felling and On-site Chipping.

Waterways & Creek Crossovers:

We can upgrade an existing crossover or build new.
If you have an area on your property that is hard to access or is difficult or hazardous to drive on after heavy rain, we can assist.
